Here Are WM's Submission Guidelines For Contributors
This is YOUR writing magazine, so feel free to contribute. We're especially in need of profile pieces about writers or how-to articles on the writing profession. We welcome news items and "viewpoint" pieces for our editorial page about the writing profession. Also, be sure to send in your answers to our "10 Questions" along with a good jpg image or glossy photo of yourself and a short (100 wd max) bio at the end of the questions.

Here are our current 10 questions:
(1) When did you first want to be a writer?
(2) What writers influenced you?
(3) What is your latest work? Book, article, etc.
(4) What is your writing process?
(5) When and where do you do your best writing?
(6) What famous writer (past or present) would you like to interview and what one question would you ask?
(7) What do you feel is the hardest part of being a writer today?
(8) What are your immediate and future goals?
(9) What are your thoughts about the future of printed books, magazines, and newspapers?
(10) What do you enjoy reading? Any particular authors?

**Be sure to include the 10 QUESTIONS as well as your ANSWERS when replying.
We ask that you try to keep submissions to no more than 1000 words (750 better yet) so that they may also be considered for our e-book and printed edition. Art and photos should be .jpg or .gif and no more than 5x7". (Our Cover Writer of The Year photo is best at 5"x5")
No e-mail attachments, please.
We prefer that your article be pasted into the body of an e-mail as a .txt file with no indents or unusual formatting. One space between sentences and a single paragraph return after each paragraph is requested.
Answers to our "10 Questions" and informative articles for aspiring writers with accompanying artwork or photo have the best chance of acceptance. No monetary payment for regular contributions but we do offer a $50 prize annually for our "WM Cover Writer of The Year."
Each January, the author of the best article or the "10 Questions" answers and photo we receive from February 1 to December 1 will be chosen as the "WM Cover Writer of The Year"and the writer will be awarded a $50 prize, plus publication in our glossy printed magazine. The first winner will be shown on the front cover of our 2013 issue in January.
